3 days in Tallinn with a 3 years old

Tallinn it’s been almost one year ago. This is one of the most charming and the best preserved medieval cities I have ever visited and definitely the highlight of our summer trip. We were there in the middle of the summer heat last year but I guess going to Tallinn for a Christmas market would be absolutely lovely!

Here is what we liked there during our 3 day stay:

The first thing our son spotted in the center of the city was this little blue train bringing people (parents with kids mostly) around the town. After the tour we walked a lot around the old town which is extremely beautiful!

I love open air museums so I couldn’t have missed the Estonian Open Air museum either. This museum is about 15 minutes drive from the city center and it’s a reflection of the countries rural architecture and way of life in the different historic period and the different social classes. It is very charming and great for a visit with kids of all ages!

The walk from the Kadriorg Park and Palace to the beach. We arrived to late in order to visit the castle but the gardens and the surrounding were stunning. From there we walked about 10 minutes to the beach.
